Pixi Version 1.0 has eight multi-touch modes that create an almost infinite array of design possibilities. Explore harmonious and discordant combinations as you experiment with the visual possibilities. There is no "one" technique to apply - cool results are achieved through a deep understanding of the modes, finger gestures and the math…or by just intuitively drawing and watching the results. HAVE FUN!

Stroke icon

Stroke

The Stroke menu option allows you to control the weight of the line in your drawing as well as a variation in line weight over time. Drag your finger up for a thicker line and down for a thinner line. Moving right or left controls the amount of variation. A pinch controls the speed of the variation.

Poly Painter icon

Poly Painter

A drawing mode that allows you to add semi-transparent polygons to your design. You control opacity and several other settings. Use one or two fingers to adjust this mode.

Stroke Color icon

Stroke Color

In this mode the first touch sets color one, the second sets color two. You can have up to five colors through which your design can cycle. Drag up and down to find your color on the spectrum, drag left to right to change brightness.

Brush Painter icon

Brush Painter

This mode allows you to add a wide variety of shapes to your design. You define the shape, it’s size, opacity, rotation, number and position. This mode has settings available for one, two or three fingers.

Background Color icon

Background Color

Change the background color in your design. Drag up and down for color selection. Drag left to right for brightness control.

Save Feature icon

Save/View

Keep a record of your designs to share with your friends.

Web Painter icon

Web Painter

This unique drawing mode adds detailed lines that animate based on how you drag your finger. Use one and two fingers to adjust this mode to your liking.

   

Menu Mode

To access the halo menu, tap at the bottom center of the screen to activate the menu. Drag, flick or tap to choose options.
